Robert jumped from editing to directing with back to back campaign films for iconic designer Yohji Yamamoto's Adidas fashion imprint, Y-3. Prior editorial work spanned television, documentary film, and commercials along with work for fashion, beauty and luxury brands including Adidas, Nike, Balmain, DKNY, H&M, Alexander Wang and Equinox. He contributed to Kanye West’s first three Yeezy fashion launches, first as an editor and finally as a creative director for the Yeezy Season 3 / Life of Pablo album launch livestream that reached 765 sold-out cinemas in 26 countries and 20m small screens via Tidal. He recently directed a brand film for Huawei’s HONOR subdivision and his first full beauty campaign, for Armani Beauty with Barbara Palvin, both coming in Q4 2019. Also coming soon: his first short film, which he wrote and directed and, assuming the universe remains utterly arbitrary, will play the festival circuit in 2020.
